Lazio 2-2 AC Milan: two-goal burst flips a tight Round 4 headliner

This was billed as a battle for positions between 4th and 6th, with a two-point gap, and it played like it. Lazio started sharper and led 2-0 at the break through Matteo Cancellieri on 10 minutes, set up by Mattia Zaccagni, and Tijjani Noslin on 39 minutes. The hosts looked in control in transition and punished early mistakes.

AC Milan answered after the interval, and quickly. Roma stay perfect, Napoli grind it out, and Cagliari spring a shock

Roma’s perfect start rolled on with a 2-0 win at Torino. Donyell Malen struck on 40 minutes and Niccolò Pisilli added a late second at 90 minutes to secure a fourth win from four. José Mourinho’s side sit top on 12 points with a 12-1 goal record, looking efficient at both ends and happy to control scorelines.

Napoli handled a tricky assignment against Bologna with a 1-0 home win sealed by Stanislav Lobotka on 66 minutes from a Costantino Favasuli assist. The underlying data says deserved: xG 1.19 to 0.29, 14-5 on shots and 10-0 on corners. Kevin De Bruyne and Leonardo Spinazzola also rated well, but Lobotka took player of the match on an 8.7 Sofascore Rating for his midfield command and the decisive goal.
