In an exclusive interview with Sofascore News, Bremer explained the goal-scoring phase he is experiencing at Juventus. The brazilian defender has become the highest-scoring defender in Serie A among active players, with 23 goals, surpassing Mancini, from Roma, who has 22.

At 29, Bremer is set to reach 200 Serie A matches next weekend, should he take the field against Milan. The player built his career in Italian football also wearing Torino’s shirt before transferring to Juventus and establishing himself as one of the top Brazilian defenders in Europe.

In the interview, Bremer talked about statistics, his goals with Juventus for the 2026/2027 season. A reserve in the last World Cup, the defender also made it clear that he remains eager to return to represent the Brazilian National Team. Check out the full interview with Sofascore News:

SOFASCORE NEWS: Bremer, you have been reaching impressive goal numbers in Serie A. Many of them are headers. To what do you attribute this record? Is it the result of specific training? How do you explain and view this differential?

BREMER: It’s always been an important aspect of my game. I like to be able to help in the offensive phase as well. And aerial play is, without a doubt, a skill that I have worked on a lot over the years.

SOFASCORE NEWS: The 2026/27 season is beginning. What are your plans and objectives with Juventus for this season?

BREMER: The objectives with Juventus will be defined throughout the season, but personally, I think it’s time to compete for a title again, because that’s what this club needs. To help do that, I need to keep working to reach my best level again.

SOFASCORE NEWS: And after a painful World Cup for Brazil, how do you see your future with the National Team? What do you expect regarding a new call-up?

BREMER: I’m always available for the National Team, because representing your own country is a dream for any player, and I know I can only do that by showing my value throughout the season. I want to be part of the National Team and I hope to be able to return already in the next call-up.

SOFASCORE NEWS: Do you usually monitor your individual statistics, such as headed goals, tackles and interceptions per game? How do you deal with data and statistics in your daily football routine?

BREMER: I don’t follow the statistics obsessively. I use them mainly to improve even more. The club provides us with some reports and I also look at my reports and physical and performance data, and always try to improve my levels.
