The sale of Allan from Palmeiras to Manchester City for €40 million (about R$240 million) shook up the list of the 10 biggest sales in Brazilian football this century.

The deal, which included a fixed payment of €37.5 million + €2.5 million in bonuses, places the former Palmeiras gem in eighth position in the ranking.

Neymar holds first place. The striker left Santos in 2013 to join Barcelona, in a transfer worth €88 million.
